About my charity : RNLI - Royal National Lifeboat Institution RNLI - Royal National Lifeboat Institution
The RNLI saves lives at sea. RNLI volunteer lifeboat crews provide a 24-hour search and rescue service around the coasts of the UK and the Republic of Ireland. RNLI lifeguards provide a seasonal lifeguard service on selected beaches. An average of 22 people are rescued every day from the water, in situations which are often difficult and sometimes dangerous. The RNLI is independent from Government, relying on donations for its income, so can only continue thanks to people like you. The RNLI is a charity, registered in England, Scotland and the Republic of Ireland.

As most will know, I was brought up in Cornwall and can remember the Penlee Lifeboat disaster as a small child.  My father (now sadly deceased) was also a lifelong supporter.  It'll be the first and only time I'm going to put my body through this so...
