Story

We initially decided we wanted to participate in the Rickshaw Run mid last year. For those of you who aren'f familiar with the event the Run is an 3,500km pan-Indian adventure driving from Cochin to Shiilong in a 7 horsepower glorified lawnmower - The Rickshaw.

A stipulation of entry into the event is that each team must raise over £1,000 for a charity of their choice. Neither of us have been involved in any serious charity work before so selecting a charity that meant something to us was difficult.

Fortunately I stumbled across a recent campaign by the Gazette Blackpool - Hospice Heroes (http://www.blackpoolgazette.co.uk/hospice-heroes) - aiming to raise £200,000 for Blackpool's Trinity Hospice and Brian House.

As two local lads, both of whom have had grandparents who were cared for by the Hospice, it all fit together perfectly.

Please donate anything you can today to help us reach our goal of £1,000!!

We've now been fortunate enought to get 3 great sponsors on-board to help us on our adventure:

About: The amazing guys at Cinch! have been kind enough to donate to us their brand new 4-man pop up tent, a real-must have piece of kit for our adventure!!!

Trinity Hospice and Brian House Children's Hospice provide specialist palliative care to adults and children across the Fylde Coast and much needed support for their families. Our services are available free of charge, but with limited government funding we need to raise over £10 million every year.
