At long last we made to the west cost of Scotland and climbed The Old Man of Stoer for raising awareness and funds for The Alzheimer's Society.

We arrived at the  Clachtoll Beach Campsite on the 3rd of September and we were amazed by the beautiful scenery and location. Weather was fine for the few days and we did some training and then for two days we had very strong
winds, alas on the 8th we awoke to a beautiful day with clear sky the sun rising, we had already packed waiting for a break in the weather, so after a hearty breakfast cooked by Kate Daryl's carer we set off with good wishes for the day's climb from Daryl and Kate, who opted to stay with the campervan at the campsite. We hitched a lift of some fellow campers (many thanks)  the Stoer Lighthouse and walked the 3 km to The Old Man of Stoer.

After  some walkers kindly took some photographs we climbed The Old Man of Stoer. We had a great and memorable day.

We would like to thank all those who has sponsored us including family and friends and those who wished to sponsored us over the coming months.
