We are all finding the challenge of running for a half marathon very daunting indeed! We are currently training once or twice a week but know we need to give more of a commitment to get us race ready before 18th September. Angela has already competed in Race for Life a few weeks ago and found the 5k course at Temple Newsham very tough going indeed!

Cafod is such a worthwhile cause to donate to, especially as they fully support the Make Poverty History campaign and much of their work in Africa and other under-developed countries is towards this aim. We, as many other people who live comfortable lives do, feel it is totally obscene that there are still people in our world dying every few seconds due to hunger, preventable diseases and poverty.
