About my charity : RAFT RAFT
RAFT is a reconstructive plastic surgery research charity devoted to advancing the care of patients with damage or potential damage to their skin. Our research focuses on repairing burn and other skin injuries through the development of artificial skin, reducing or eliminating scarring and skin cancer prevention. Dear All,

Once again I am running the London marathon on 13 April 2008.  Don't ask me why I decided to do it again but I entered and was lucky (possibly unlucky!) enough to get a ballot place.

I am raising money for RAFT again.  RAFT are a charity that specialise in reconstructive surgery and burn injury treatment.  They are also researching into a cure for melanoma (skin cancer) and as you may all know my mum was taken by this horrible disease in March 2006.  Myself and RAFT would be very grateful for your donations to help in their studies into finding a cure this aggressive disease.
