November 5th is my birthday - my mother always said I came with a bang! At my age, I don't need presents but what I do need to do is help others less fortunate than myself. The Butterwick Hospice at Bishop Auckland does some marvellous work and many families have had cause to thank the excellent and caring staff there. Fortunately, my family isn't one of them but who knows what the future brings? I'm not asking for a lot of money - so if you can donate just two pounds, that will be enough....50 friends donating £2 will make my target.
