WE DID IT!

On the 4th of August, we rose above mankind's natural in-built fear of heights and took to the air as part of a sponsored paraglide in order to help secure the future of CINI's services for severely malnourished children in India.

These services provide treatment to children who have developed infections they are unable to fight off because of their weakend immune systems, and provides the children's primary carer (usually their mother) with somewhere to stay, food and emotional support while her child is nursed back to health. 

During their stay with the charity, mothers are also trained in basic preventative healthcare and in cooking techniques to maximise the nutritional value of the family's food.  Outreach work is also done with the husband his parents to help prevent this kind of crisis from reoccuring in the family.

£4,250 is needed to provide all the food needed for a year to nurse the 1,350 children admitted to CINI's Emergency Ward and Nutrition Rehabilitation Centre over the coming year back to health.  This is the total amount we would love to be able to raise for the charity - so please give generously.
