My story

Hi, I’m Anne Wortley, and I’m doing the Cardiff Half Marathon to raise money for CCP.

A few years ago, I had a brain tumour removed. This left me physically disabled, but I have never let it stop me from living life to the full. In the past couple of years I have walked a half marathon, trekked in the mountains of Tuscany and walked with the Maasi of Tanzania, all in aid of charity. This year, as a disabled entrant, I shall be walking the Cardiff Half Marathon along with my aide and colleague, Paul Barrett, who is a CCP Floating Support worker and Gloucestershire firefighter.
