Hello Everyone,
Ed was a great friend of my brothers and I, so it goes without saying that I want to do as much as I can for the Ed Evans foundation. The foundation raises valuable money for a variety of causes which was Ed's aim when he started his charity work prior to him sadly passing away in October 2007 aged only 27.
I am currently living and working in Australia a country which Ed visited and really enjoyed. Over a couple of glasses of wine quite a few months ago I agreed to do the Rottnest Channel swim (19.2km on 21st Feb 2009) as a duo! While following the black line up and down the pool, I realised that Ed would have visited Cottesloe beach (where the race starts) and definately had a pint in the Quokka Arms on Rottnest Island (where we finish), so I thought it would be quite nice that as I swim between the two, I raise some money for the Ed Evans Foundation.
The duo for the 'Rotto swim' is called Celtic Connections and is comprised of my friend Karen Alsop from Scotland and little old me from Wales. We also have an extensive support team called ' Team Pimms'.

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: The Ed Evans Foundation gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
Thank you for your support.
