ADDER is a charity based in the North East of England dedicated to helping people with dystonia, a neurological condition which involves abnormal muscle movements. Our main achievement is the correct diagnosis of over 2,000 people proving that dystonia is 2nd only to Parkinson's Disease in its prevalence (commonness).

My story

Hi Everyone,

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page. First of all, thank you to all of you that sponsored me last year for the Blackpool 10km race. MMyself and Sam Moss raised just short of £2000 for ADDER!! All your sponsorship was received and greatly appreciated!

This year is ADDERs 10th anniversary and I will, like last year be raising money for them. But this year I will be running in two races:

The Blackpool 10km

I will be running this 10km "fun run" in full combat gear, the same as last year, body armour and a weighted rucksack.

The BUPA Great North Run

I will be running this one as a normal sane person would, just shorts a tshirt and some trainers, but it is just over 13 miles, thats more than double the Blackpool 10Km!
