It would be really great if you could support me (Tony Harrould), Nigel Upfield & Phil King who are trying to raise money for Childline who are in desperate need of extra money to help answer the 2000 calls a day that do not get answered, for all money donated the government will match the amount

We are  planning to canoe the Basingstoke Canal from It’s source at the Greywell tunnel  to the Deepcut Lock  (approx 20 miles).This will be accomplished in a brand new two seater & single seater canoe built by Nigel in his spare time.

As a novice who has never canoed before, I have just stated training under Nigel & Phil strict guidance and now already have arms 3 foot long!

We are planning to undertake this event at the end of September/ early October depending on weather conditions.
