My story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Anthony Smith and 3 crew, David Hildred, John Russell and Andy Bainbridge, successfully crossed The Atlantic Ocean in 2011 taking 66 days to float from La Gomera to St Maarten in The Caribbean. Their story and pictures were posted HERE.

On April 6 2012, Anthony and his new crew of 4 departed St Maarten bound for Eleuthera In The Bahamas.    Local Journalist Gary Brown captured the moment perfectly here.

We, on An-Tiki, will have more than enough water on board but will collect rain and transform salt water into fresh, thus reminding ourselves of its importance.  All around will be the liquid demanding that this planet should be named Water instead of Earth. WaterAid is therefore a terrific charity for us to support.
