Hi All!
I am undertaking a sponsored 40km walk for Herts Air Ambulance on the 9th May . Essex and Herts Air Ambulance trust initiated a fundraising plan to help Hertfordshire finance an Air Ambulance (which it did not have before) in 2007. In Nov 2008 the first Herts Air Ambulance was established - it now needs continued support in order for it to keep running.
The walk is in the South Downs starting at Glorious Goodwood and roughly translates to about 25 miles, so nothing to be sniffed at!
I am doing the walk with Heather, Dave and Carl and barring a few punch ups with some Stiles, our training has been going pretty well so far. We will be ramping it up over the next 6 weeks, so if you see me limping along the road one day, you will know why!
