The Oxford Radcliffe Hospitals (ORH) Charitable Funds is the umbrella charity for over 700 funds supporting projects across the ORH NHS Trust that enhance services and facilities for patients and staff. These range from support for particular wards, at the John Radcliffe, Churchill and Horton Hospitals, to larger fundraising campaigns to support major developments such as the new Oxford Cancer Centre, the Oxford Children's Hospital, the Geratology Appeal and the Oxford Heart Centre expansion. As one of the foremost teaching trusts in the UK, the Oxford Radcliffe Hospitals enjoy a national and international reputation in fields such as cancer and cranio-facial surgery. Please give generously - your support enables us to provide the best possible healthcare in the best possible setting, to a standard far higher than the NHS alone would be able to afford.

My story

Andrew Baker's Oxford Radcliffe Children's Hospital fundraising Appeal

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. I have pledged to raise £20,000 for the Oxford Children's Hospital at the JR. My way to say thank you back for the 6 years of treatment I received to the brain, until my all-clear in 2006. I have organised many events with all my friends, and organise an annual 6-a-side football charity fun day.

The Children's Hospital Oxford (CHOX) is a fantastic facility, treating 65,000 sick and ill youngsters and if anyone's the inspiration to pour in funds, its the brave kids who go through so much everyday - their courage is my inspiration to raise money for such an excellent cause.

Events I've helped organise from sporty to wacky to simple inc. a fantastic football tournament to support CHOx & Help An Oxfordshire Child, to superheroes & villians, 60s, 70s & 80s dress days, 14-mile & 10-hour sponsored walks, a pyjamas day, fashion shows and dance shows!

I have now topped my £20k, and raised nearly £22,000 SO FAR....... but you can push it even more and make many more youngsters lives 65,000 times better!
