FROM BEGINNING OF MARCH, I HAVE LOST 18KG (39LB)

I've arrived at the end of the official Macquarie/Camfed fitness drive and lost 18kg (and a lot of other participants) in the process.  Slimming is always a difficult task to ask people for sponsorship, particularly as you never know if you are going to stick with it.   Also you guys fill the place with too many temptations.  However, I'm pleased to say I've survived the chocolate, snacks and alcohol.

If anyone has any spare pennies that they would like to add to my CAMFED account to help reach my target, it would really appreciate it.  Macquarie will generously match the amount.

I'm supporting Camfed, a charity which supports girls through education in rural areas of Africa.  Education helps break the cycle of poverty, ill health, early marriage and maternal mortality.  It provides knowledge, confidence and skills required to build a better life.  If you're interested in more detail, just click on the link on the left - but trust me, it's a great cause.
