We are raising money for Kids Company, a charity that supports children with severe behavioural, emotional and social difficulties resulting from significant childhood trauma and/or neglect. Many of them are living in chronic deprivation due to extreme poverty and little or no support from the adults in their family. They often suffer from abuse, mental health problems, substance misuse and homelessness.

The trip itself is to Sweden, where we will be competing against teams with events such as ice fishing, 25km race in temps of -30 and cross-country skiing. With only 5 hours of twilight per day we will be freezing cold - in the middle of nowhere - and it will be very dark.
