The Motor Neurone Disease (MND) Association is the only national organisation in England, Wales and Northern Ireland dedicated to the support of people with MND and those who care for them.

Our mission is to fund and promote research to bring about an end to MND. Until then we will do all that we can to enable everyone with MND to receive the best care, achieve the highest quality of life possible, and die with dignity. We will also do all that we can to support the families and carers of people with MND.

Our vision is of a world free of MND.

My story

Thank you for visiting our fundraising page. Please dig deep and sponsor us online. Even the smallest amount will help so please, please sponsor us!!!

You will see we have now hit our target but anything over will mean we can help the Association to help even more people with MND - they truely are an amazing support to people, families and friends who have been affected by this disease.

We are taking part in a once in a lifetime challenge through the arctic with a team of huskies, We will be covering around 200k across lakes, up mountains and through forests. The weather conditions will be unpredictatble and challenging - but this is nothing compared to the challenge faced everyday for those people who have MND.

We will be doing this challenge together with 14 other like minded people! You can see exactally what we doing for the challenge, track our fundraising, see what were up to generally and view our events by logging on to our website www.arcticchallenge2009.com
