We are a group of army wives that are based at Wattisham Airfield in Suffolk.Understandably as army wives we see first hand and hear about difficulties encountered by injured soldiers when coming back from their tour of duty.

Help for Heroes was launched in 2007 to help our woundered service men and women.So far Help for Heroes has helped to enhance a health rehabilitation centre at Headly Court along with many other projects, such as the relative house at Selly Oak Hospital.

To show our support for this cause which is obviously close to our hearts we are going to complete the 3 peak challenge.This involves climbing the 3 highest peaks in the UK, which are Ben Nevis (Scotland), Scafell Pike (England) and Snowdon (Wales). We are doing this on the weekend of the 22nd of August and the challenge is to complete it in 24 hours.

The Armed Forces have limited funding and therefore we need your help to support our heroes.They say they are not heroes, they are just blokes doing their job, even so they deserve all the help they can get.
