Safe Water Appeal for 150 Poor Families In Bangladesh. Arsenic In Water is Killing Many - Over 80 million affected in Bangladesh alone.
Our first appeal a few months ago raised enough to help 55 families (thank you). Watch the video of the distribution held in December 2008 and the interviews with dying people poisoned by drinking this lethal water. People like yourself helped them. But there are many other familes who most likely may die if nothing is done.

Your money will buy special water filters that will help each family for over 5 years (it can last upto 8 years) and then the media can be replaced by the family. The poor family will pay nothing for this filter. Not a sausage. zilch. This is your gift to them. We will show you photos on our website (see the video above or Dec 2008 photos). We plan to carry out further work based on the success and outcome of this project. You will be saving poor families from death caused by tumors, cancers, gangrene, tissue damage etc. You will be saving children from being orphaned, and be sparing them watch the older family members die off gradually (see the photos on our website). These people are too poor to seek treatment. The loss of a bread winner is a terrible tragedy. There is no social safety net.
We aim to distribute these filters in April 2009. The photos are uploaded onto our website a month later (go to our website and sign up to our free newsletter so you can be kept up-dated). We are not funded by any organisation and rely completely on your donations. Please support our work and you will see how your money helps bring a smile.
