As some of you may be aware on Sunday 17 May I’ll be taking part in the Great Manchester Run. In total 30 volunteers are hoping to raise £150 each to support the continual good work of the LGF. The Lesbian and Gay Foundation is a registered charity providing information, health services, face-to-face counselling and a much needed telephone helpline to all gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgendered individuals.
With this in mind I’m asking anyone who is willing to please sponsor my effort. Anything you can give will be greatly appreciated and continue to support a charity which has campaigned tirelessly for the rights of gay people. If you want to know more please visit www.lgf.org.uk
If you wish to donate please contact me via text, phone, email or Facebook. From pennies to pounds it all makes a difference. Also if you are free on the 17 you are more than welcome to come along. The atmosphere should be amazing and you’ll get to see yours truly donning Lycra, a sweatband and running 10k all in the name of charity.
Cheers
Ashley
