Thank you for visiting our Just Giving fundraising page. The Wirral Society of The Blind and Partially Sighted are a small local Charity supporting visually impaired people in Wirral. We are the only organisation in Wirral offering such support, we therefore aim to provide a wide range of services and facilities to enable visual impaired people of all ages to lead a fulfilled and independent life. We have launched a Capital appeal to raise funds for a purpose built training and development unit equipped with specialised low vision aids and computer software. This will open up a world of opportunities for blind and partially sighted people to pursue training courses in ICT. We have a number of people taking part in sponsored events to help raise this money, including walking, skydiving, and running. Once again our very own Sue Hadley, pictured on the left, will be running to help fund our appeal. Sue will be participating in the very first Birmingham Half Marathon on the 26th October with her guide Garry Wells and all funds raised will come directly to us. If you would like to follow this appeal, visit our website and help us to build the wall. We thank you sincerely for any donation you make to us. Many thanks
