Atlantic Rowing Challenge · 4 December 2007

Sense is here to support disabled people from the first weeks of life through all the major milestones of adulthood. Over 70 years, we’ve built extensive knowledge and expertise in supporting disabled people with complex needs, including deafblind people.

Story

**PLEASE REFRAIN FROM USING CORPORATE NAMES ON THIS SITE - THANK YOU**

In early January 2008 Alan and Matthew are attempting to row the Atlantic Ocean in January, rowing from La Gomera in Tenerife to Antigua.

This is a huge challenge and will take about 60-70 days of rowing to complete, so far there have been only 300 successful ocean rows, this is less than the amount of people who have summitted Mount Everest.

Alan and Matt are taking on this massive challenge to raise funds for the charity Sense who support people who are both deaf and blind, please support this amazing feat by sponsoring Alan and Matt.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Sense - National Deafblind and Rubella Association will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

So please sponsor them now!

Many thanks for your support.
