Since November 2015, I have felt an overwhelming call to pray for both Yemen and Saudi Arabia. In March 2017, my focus was shifted to Yemen specifically and in late 2018, I felt it was laid on my heart to start fundraising for Yemen. 

Being one of the poorest countries in the Arab world, and in urgent need of financial and practical support, I felt led to get involved with what was already being done in the region.

Yemen is a special country to me, because of close family friends and its rich cultural heritage dating back thousands of years (Biblical Sheba).

The region is currently being torn apart by civil war and 9 million people are facing starvation in what the UN has called, the worst humanitarian crisis in 100 years.

I am suffering and fasting with the people (please join me) and praying for God's will to be done in the region. I am praying for both peace and stability, and also for rescue services to start bringing those most vulnerable back to the UK for safekeeping until the war is over. I am also praying for financial injections to be put into the local economy and communities on the ground.

Finally, I am hoping and praying that if the problem with war in families and communities cannot be solved, then we can at least #SaveTheChildren.
