This summer I am taking part in the Mongolia Charity Rally 2008 with my friends Mohit Jethani, George Kirton, and Otto Ecroyd. Teams drive to Mongolia in their own vehicles which they then donated to their chosen charity in Mongolia (we’ll be donating our Toyota Hilux Surf). We’ve chosen to raise money for SAVE THE CHILDREN (registered charity number 213890) and all of the money goes to their projects in Mongolia, none of it to the fundraisers or race organizers.
All the money we raise goes directly to the charity, and NOT to the costs of our trip.

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and a hundred percent safe. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor us, also if you are a UK taxpayer, Gift Aid ensures the taxman pays back the charity the 22 odd percent he took off your donation before in taxes - plus a 3 percent supplement is added to you donation.
The whole event is organized by volunteers from a small non-profit-organization called Go Help. We have covered the costs for our entry with Go Help. They are also raising money through commercial sponsorship of the event. You can visit their website here.
