I am trying to raise some money for GBSS, sadly i was one of those mums who weren't tested for GBS while pregnant with my first child, a beautiful little boy called Cei. Just 2 hours old he was taken from us. I carried him lovingly in my tummy for 41 weeks and 3 days, went through a 26 hour labor and 45 minutes of pushing. There was just no way of knowing anything was wrong with him as i was feeling ok and there are no symptons of the infection. Just one little swab would have changed my life forever. It really is the difference between life and death.
