WE MADE IT!!

 

On the 29^th September 3 soaked and exhausted mountain bike riders arrived at John O'Groats after a monster 19 day ride that took them 1200 miles from Lands End OFF-ROAD!

This project was created by lead rider Matt Legg-Bagg after his Dad was diagnosed with terminal prostate cancer in February 2008. Pat Legg-Bagg was a proud father and the Backpedal Team were able to see this for themselves when they paid Matts parents a visit on day 2 of the ride. It was the last time Matt saw his Dad who passed away on 15^th September aged just 62. Pat died peacefully in his sleep.

Backpedal Cancer aim to raise £20,000 for The Prostate Cancer Charity which will help fund research into a cure and help those that already suffer with the illness.
