Story

Thanks for visiting our fundraising page.

Over the last 8 years we have been fortunate enough to visit Nepal on a number of occasions and enjoy not only the spectacular scenery, but also the incredible warmth and friendliness on the Nepalese people.

With your help, we would like to give something back through raising money for the Himalayan Trust, which, through numerous projects in the area of health, education and forestry, works tirelessly to improve the lives of the Sherpa people.

Instead of running a marathon to raise money (been there, done that - got the blisters to prove it!), this year we have decided to climb a mountain.  Not just any mountain - Mera Peak is the highest trekking peak in Nepal, and stands at a height of 6,476 metres (21,246 ft).

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor us: Himalayan Trust gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

So please sponsor us now!
