Ballyholme Primary PTA is registered as a charity in order that we have the benefit of receiving from the Revenue, 28p for every £1 we raise through parents contributions. The School has a very hard working and active group of parents and teachers who organise different social events during the year. Last year we organised a Christmas Fair, Teddy Bears picnic, a table quiz, a relay marathon, sold trolley tags and had various discos for the children. The year ended with a huge BBQ in the playground attended by over 800 parents and children – at the BBQ there were lots of stalls and entertainment to keep both children and parents happy. We hope to do more of the same this year. Your help and support is always welcomed.

My story

Thanks for visiting the MAIN fundraising page for Ballyholme Primary School.

Working together with parents and teachers through the PTA we have now this new on-line system to help us raise funds for Ballyholme Primary.

We would like to thank all parents who have continued to support the School over the years. Our school year ended last year with another marvellous summer BBQ. It was great to see so many children (and parents) enjoying themselves at all the various activities. We were all delighted to be able to give Mr Hewitt a cheque for £15,000 which will go towards the purchase of a new Minibus. About £6,000 of this was raised through the annual parents contribution and the rest from various events throughout the year.

The Department of Education funds will barely cover the cost of living increases so Ballyholme Primary always need funds from other sources. The PTA helps in lots of ways with various activities but in addition to this we are also asking you, as parents, to make an annual donation and if you are a UK taxpayer we get an extea 28p! We hope this new system of donating will make it easy for you to help your School.
