In a moment of madness after a few glasses of wine one Friday night I decided to register for the Heart and Heroes Challenge. It takes place on 16th May 2009 and we have to complete 29miles of the Southern Upland Way in the Borders of Scotland. I have been training for several months now with one of my team members Allwin and our 3 dogs. I hope to complete the course in time to celebrate at the ceilidh in Melrose rugby club ! I hope you will read the attached info about the Sportsman Charity and agree it is a very worthwhile cause. I would be really grateful for any contribution you can make to sponsor me for this event.
19th May 2009 - we made it! -29miles in 9.5 hrs -the toughest challenge I have done -didnt expect quite so many hills!
We were fastest all female team so got a great trophy and enjoyed the party after! Thank you so much for all your support and sponsorship.
