Losing my Mop - Not my rag!!

The Plan?

Yikes! To sit on stage in front of a whole school of teenagers, and have my hair cut off bit by excruciating bit, then a dramatic full-shave finish!

Mad?
Definitely!!!!

Two months... Countdown begins....Is that enough to raise the target?  Or can we exceed it beyond my highest expectations?  I like to think people will be generous and push the donations way over the top!!!  But anything (anything at all) will be appreciated.  Now - the reason I'm doing this...

Why Cancer research?
Throughout my life I, like so many others, have had brushes with cancer - whether family friend, boyfriend's aunt/ father, friend's grandmother and aunt, a friend's friend... the list goes on.  Just about everyone I've spoken to about this sponsorship has told me of their own experiences with cancer.  Some close to home, some simply knowing someone.

Why go bald?
Because my friend is!  She's on her second lot of chemotherapy, expecting her hair to fall out any day now.  I want to stand shoulder-to-shoulder with her whilst she goes through the her treatment.  At the same time, what a good opportunity to raise some funds for a charity which could well prevent the same suffering in the future!!

Will I? won't I?
