My story

London 2008 - wet, cold and very slow!! ... but I finished!!! This year has to be more fun and, in these economic times, much more important. Again, I will be trying to raise funds for Help & Care who focus on helping people to maintain their independence. How will your money work? Well, £5.00 will cover the expenses of a volunteer visit to an elderly person who is lonely. A donation of £10.00 will get some gardening done. And £20.00 will get odd jobs sorted out that the elderly person can no longer do. If you feel that you want to support me financially - thank you. If you want to support me physically - I will be crossing Tower Bridge at 12.28 p.m. on Sunday, 26th April. Thanks for reading this. - Barrie
