1000 miles is tough enough but to complete it in less than 24hours- most people think I have a screw loose (maybe I have)
I am aiming to complete another 1000 mile in 24 hours on December 21st 2008. I must be mad think of the Cold and the Ice on this the SHORTEST DAY of the year.

Well I did it 1163 miles recorded on my speedo in 20 hours and 42 mins ...... Breakfast in Dover, Lunch at the Lands End Hotel, Afternoon Tea near Swansea Dinner just outside Birmingham and home for a pint with my wife before the Club Shut ......... Priceless
I have been at it again this time competeing in the British version of the Iron Butt Rally out of 49 who started this grueling event only 26 finished and I am proud to say I came 5th this year. 1290 miles in less than 36 hours collecting 33,449 bonus points on route.
Well the next step will put me in the record books nobody in the UK has completed a 3000 mile ride in 48 hours Starting on 21st September at 00:01hrs I will be starting this challenge I will keep you posted.
£ 15.00 is just 1p per mile for the first day so how about the full £ 30.00
