RMHC provides 'home away from home' accommodation for parents with children in hospital. Ronald McDonald Houses and Family Room complexes are located close to hospitals or hospices in order to ensure families are kept together at a difficult time. With Houses and Family Rooms throughout the UK, RMHC aims to provide accommodation where and when it is most needed.

Our personal message:

Beachcroft's annual Charity Walk will this year be centred on Keswick in The Lakes, on Saturday 27 September 2008. The walk will be The Coledale Round, a 10 mile jaunt taking in Causey Pike, Sail, Eel Crags and Grisedale Pike.

This year we will be raising money to support Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC - http://www.rmhc.org.uk), an independent registered charity supporting families with children in hospital. The charity was established in the UK in 1989 and provides free 'home away from home' accommodation for the families of children requiring in-patient care in hospitals and hospices. Donations help RMHC to continue to do their valuable work in nearly 40 hospitals across the UK providing over 300 bedrooms a night for families to stay in. Please give generously to support this worthy cause.
