Following the sucess of our previous Beardathons held in 2007 and 2009, we have decided to hold yet another Beardathon in 2011in aid of Wooden Spoon and Moorvision. So here's your chance to throw away your razor for 7 weeks and raise money for a deserving charity.

The Wooden Spoon is a national charity founded in 1983 to help underprivileged children and young people who are disadvantaged physically, mentally or socially to live happier, richer lives.

Moorvision is a support group for families with children or young people who have a visual impairement or other condition affecting their eye health.

The Beardathon starts on Monday October 31st 2011 and finishes on Friday 16th December.

So if you've always wanted to grow a beard, and just needed an excuse or whether you just want to upset the wife, your boss or even the mother-in-law then please, please join in and help support this worthy cause.....and save money on razors!!
