My story

Thank you for visiting our fundraising page. Please dig deep and sponsor our team online.

This year our intrepid team of youngish, not so fit friends scaled the 3 highest mountains in the UK within 24 hours.  That's Ben Nevis at 4409 feet, Scafell Pike at 3210 feet and Snowdon at 3560 feet.

The challenge was not only physically demanding but also requires concentration to drive 460 miles overnight from the Highlands, through Cumbria and into North Wales.  The weather was so hot that we had to consume over 30 litres of water and energy drinks to stay hydrated.

We completed the challenge quite late in "the season" so a lot of the climbing in Cumbria was in the dark.  We were treated to the most glorious sunrise though and pictures can be seen on the website below.

Having smashed through our target of £1000 on Tuesday 11th we've upped our aspirations to £1500.  Many thanks to everyone who has kindly contributed so far.
