Hello,

As some of may remember in 2006, I did a charity event at school for what was then called the Eating Disorders Association. I did not take it a seriously as I should have done to say the least. At the time I had no idea how much of an effect eating disorders would have on my family. This November (or Movember) I intend to make amends and try and raise £500 for 'beat' (formerly EDA) by growing a moustache and generally looking like an idiot for 31 days. I started Movember on the 5th and will finish on the 5th of December.

Beat provides helplines for adults and young people, online support and a UK wide network of self help groups to help people beat their eating disorder. 1.6 million people are affected by an eating disorder in the UK and they are a very serious and real form of mental illness.

As an added incentive to donate, if you feel I don't look silly or creepy enough:

Anyone giving £50 can compel me to attempt Elvis sideburns in accompaniment to my moustache.

Anyone giving £100 can compel me to extend my tache to the classic trucker.

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page, please support me in this silliness for a wonderful cause.
