BLS operates the Floating Classroom: a purpose-built boat that travels on London’s canals and on which children are taught science, environment and history lessons. Many of the children face multiple forms of deprivation and disadvantage and we aim to inspire and enthuse them with our programmes of lively and hands-on learning in a unique environment.
