Thanks for visiting my fundraising page. I am currently on an internship at CINI UK which mobilises funding for The Child In Need Institute helping poor mothers and children in India. CINI has a strong track record of bringing about sustainable improvements in four key areas: health, nutrition, education and child protection. CINI works closely with local governing bodies and community groups, sharing best practice and innovating and testing out new approaches. CINI helps poor communities access quality local services. When CINI sets up child health and nutrition work in a poor village or slum area, it typically manages to halve the rate of child malnutrition in children under three in five years! Many years ago, I visited a similar project to CINI's Nutrition and Rehabilitation Centre in Kolkata, which had a huge impact on me. Malnutrition is not simply something that occurs during a famine, it is something that is always present in the world's poorest communities. Remember a little goes a long way.
