Hey Guys and Girls!

Thanks for having a look at my fundraising page online - and hopefully sponsoring me!
On March 14th 2008,  I am hitchhiking to Prague in order to raise money for Link Community Development. The hitch has been running for 17 years and is a popular fundraising event for students all over England! The aim is to get to Prague purely by hitchhiking and relying on the generosity of others - all the time spreading the word about LCD and the work they do.
Please be aware that your money will ONLY be donated to LCD and not me, you're not sponsoring me to go on holiday!

Link Community Development is a really worthwhile charity that aims..
"To improve schools and the quality of education they deliver so that children and their communities have better opportunities.
To build the capacity of district departments of education so that they can better meet the needs of their schools and communities.
To support government education policy by using lessons learned at the grassroots level to inform national and regional strategies with sustainable and replicable models.
To facilitate partnerships between European and African education sectors for mutually beneficial development and learning."

In order to take part in the hitch, I need to raise at least £300 sponsorship! This money goes directly to LCD so the more I can raise the better!
