Well, we finished in the time - it was hard slog to ride through mainly rain, but the team spirit and scenery helped us through. I would advise anyone who is hovering on the thoughts of such a trip to do it - there is a great personal sense of achievement physically and mentally.
Overall, the event went without too many mishaps, and we were ably assisted by the team of helpers - it would have been so much harder without them. Equally NMT for supply of the transit often loaded to the roof with wet gear and bikes.
