The Motor Neurone Disease (MND) Association is the only national organisation in England, Wales and Northern Ireland dedicated to the support of people with MND and those who care for them. Our mission is to fund and promote research to bring about an end to MND. Until then we will do all that we can to enable everyone with MND to receive the best care, achieve the highest quality of life possible, and die with dignity. We will also do all that we can to support the families and carers of people with MND. Our vision is of a world free of MND.

Just to explain our wacky team name - it’s a play on words, you look back in your rear view mirror - we are not looking back we are looking forward! So rear view mirror became beer view mirror !

We are raising funds for the Motor Neurone Disease Association (MND). Motor Neurone Disease (MND) is a progressive neurodegenerative disease that attacks the upper and lower motor neurones.
Degeneration of the motor neurones leads to weakness and wasting of muscles, causing increasing loss of mobility in the limbs, and difficulties with speech, swallowing and breathing.

The disease had sadly seen the loss of two fathers of our team The Dawson's and Neil Purdue and we are walking in their memory and to help raise much needed funds for research.

The Challenge:

Walk 3 peaks in 24 Hours! Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike & Snowdon, we must be mad but it's a challenge we are looking forward to.

Why is it a challenge!!

It's going to be one hell of a fitness challenge for many of us as our levels of fitness are currently not that great so we are currently in training to ensure we can complete the 3 peaks in 24 hours.
