Thanks for visiting our fundraising page.  The Belle Fasters are slimming in order to celebrate five Years of Vets Now in Belfast and to raise money for Chest Heart and Stroke Northern Ireland. We started on the 1st of January and aim to continue until the 30th of June 2009.  Do call back and follow our progress.

1.1.09
The big first weigh in took place on the 1st January 2009 and the total weight of the Belle Fasters was 487kg.

16.1.09
Our new total is 480.25kg and the biggest loser is Michelle who lost nearly 3kg.  Janine was the only member who gained weight with nearly 1kg gained.  The next big weigh in is on 30 january 2009.  A total weight loss of one Cavalier King Charles Spaniel.

30.1.09
Total weight now 472.55kg.  A collective loss of 2 stone 5 lbs, for those who work in the old money.  Clare was the biggest loser with a loss of 2.7kg, and Janine had no fine this time with a loss of half a kilo.  That's now a total weight of one Staffie lost.

13.2.09
Total weight now 467.75kg.  Michelle was the biggest loser for the second time.  Total loss since the first of january is 19.25 kg, or a Petit Basset Griffon Vendeen!  If you don't know what that is you should be ashamed of yourslf and as a mark of contriton make a sizeable donation to the cause. (Chris White I'm looking out for yours!)

27.02.09

Total weight is now 463.83 kg.  Clare Brankin was the biggest loser losing a massive 2.72 kilos, Becky will be contributing £2.20 by way of a fine for gaining a kilo.  We have now lost a male border collie, at last a proper dog!

13.03.09

Our total weight has now decreased to a mere 459.93kg.  Clare is once again leading the field.  An Afghan Hound has now been collectively lost, 27 kg in a mere 10 weeks, but look out for the fines below.

27.03.09
Another fantastic fortnight, Now we have lost a total of 33.5 kilos, and reached Janine's ultimate goal of a retriever, Henry to be precise.  Becky was the biggest loser with a huge loss of 3.4 kg, and no fines this week.
