On April 9th 2004 I will be heading for the Southern Sahara in Morocco to take part in the Marathon Des Sables (Sand Marathon), a 150 mile, six day race across the desert, often described as the toughest footrace on earth.

The Marathon is a test of both physical and mental stamina and endurance, and it attracts competitors from around the world.

I have been a keen supporter for WWF for many years now, and am delighted to be running for the charity.
