Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.
As some of you will already know I am taking on the London Marathon in April, something I have been wanting to do for many years. I have secured a place with a charity which means a lot to me as well. I am running for BAAF which is the British Association for Adoption and Fostering. This is the charity which helped my auntie and uncle adopt my two cousins, (Sherrie and Daniel) if BAAF had not been in place to help this process it is unlikely they would have had such a fortunate upbringing. In light of the recent events of Baby P this charity's work comes even more into focus in ensuring more children are as lucky as Sherrie and Daniel now they have a loving home.
The other good news is my Dad now has a place in the marathon which gives me extra drive as we both aim for a time under 4 hours, the training will be very hard through the winter in the UK and so the more money I am running for the easier this will be. My target is for £1500 donation, this should be simple it is only a £3 donation from 500 people!! The training has begun and any early donations will make this a lot easier.
Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: British Association For Adoption And Fostering gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
Many Thanks to everyone who donates it really will help not just BAFF but also me to complete to distance!!
