My story

Hi, Welcome to my Just Giving page. In Feb 2008 I was with my unit 40 Commando, serving in Afghanistan. Whilst on routine patrol I was injured by a landmine blast, which left me without an arm and leg. Now, just over a year later, I am going to run The Flora London Marathon with 300 other amazing people to raise money for Help For Heroes. Over the past 18 months Help for Heroes has raised an amazing amount of money to help Servicemen and Women who have been wounded in the current conflicts. They have done this by asking the great British Public to "do their bit"! So I going to now do my bit! You can do your bit for Help for Heroes by supporting me as I try to run this year's London Marathon! I hope to raise over £10,000, I know this is a huge amount of money but every penny will help our incredible Servicemen and Women who do their bit everyday on Operations.
