I completed the Herts 10k yesterday, in lovely mild and dry conditions.  The official race times are not yet up on the site, but my Nike IPod, which I switched on/off as I ran through the start/finish line timed me at 1hr 2 mins,35secs.  This is my personal best todate.  I hope to improve on this, my faster kilometer was 5.31 mins,so with a bit more effort on hills, I hope to move closer to breaking 1hr over the next year.

Sean did the race in 56 mins (timed on his Nike Ipod), which is a personal best for him also.

I was definately spurred on by your support, especially on the final ,slightly uphill, 500 meters to the finish line!

Thank you very much for your support.  I have collected £500.00 online and offline combined, which I am quite pleased with since I only started collecting 2 weeks prior to the event.. The Online funds have already been transferred to The Grove Hospice, and I will be passing through all the offline funds this week, and after that as they come in.
