Thank you for visiting my fundraising page.
While the rest of my rugby pals are taking a well deserved summer break, I have been working hard - crossing the country from John O'Groats to Land's End for charity.
Starting on July 20th, I joined Chris Marshall, Pete D'Amery and Graham Russell, covering over 100 miles a day for 9 days (996 miles in total), to travel the length of Great Britain in aid of the Northamptonshire Society for Autism.
So far support from my friends and supporters at Northampton Saints has been fantastic, you will have seen my diary on the website: www.northamptonsaints.co.uk - and we even met some supporters at Land's End!
This fundraising website is open until September 19th and any support you can donate to this local charity will be much appreciated - in fact there will be a bucket shake on September 30th before the Saints v Worcester game and I hope to see you all there.
Naturally my now superfit bod will be sporting the new Saints shirt and I hope that any spare pennies you have left from your holidays you will donate to the NSA and top up the great support we have had to date.
The NSA is a charity which aims to help and support all those whose life is touched by autism, or who wish to learn more about this perplexing disability.
Autism is a life-long neurological disability that inhibits the development of imagination, communication and social skills causing people with the condition to have difficulties in making sense of the world around them, forming relationships and developing language.
Please dig deep and sponsor me online, your support will really help to spur us on and to raise much needed funds for the Northamptonshire Society for Autism. I am funding all the expenses myself, so every penny raised will go straight to where it is needed most.
Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Northamptonshire Society for Autism will receive your money faster and, if you are a taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.
So please sponsor me now!
Many thanks for your support.
Bernie
