                             Bethan Myfanwy Hughes

                                International Harpist & Vocalist

'UK's Pioneering & Wales's Foremost Harpist' - BBC World 2007

Nicknamed 'Angel of the Battlefield' by UK & US front line troops. Bethan is also proud and honoured to have been supporting and helping UK & US Armed Forces on the front line, wounded soldiers and war veterans (from every war) for 8 years, through voluntary compassionate care, care packages, adopted soldiers and harp therapy.

Bethan's cd 'Tranquil Harp' has been used by 40,000 UK & US Troops to help prevent combat stress, sleep deprivation and to promote relaxation.

Bethan's tour will now extend to December 2012, due to having to delay the tour last year through a Road Traffic Accident. All proceeds and Bethan's wages will be given to 'Help for Heroes'.

Through her work with compassionate care, Bethan became very aware of the Mental and physical aspects of deployment, that our armed forces faced everyday. It is this reason, Bethan has chosen to do this first of its kind tour 'Harp for Heroes Tour'.

NOTE FROM BETHAN:

Please do come and say hello at any of the Tesco, Morrisons, Asda's and  Sainsbury's stores.

Music  while you shop and musical concerts for all the family!

Lets show our support to all our armed forces..

FROM HELP FOR HEROES:

Thank you so much for choosing to donate to Help for Heroes. We are trying to raise a very great deal of money in a very short time to support our wounded and we are well on the way to hitting our first target of £6 million. Every donation counts and every one is appreciated.

"What is H4H all about? It's about the blokes, our men and women. It's about Derri, a rugby player who has lost both his legs, it about Carl whose jaw is wired up so he has been drinking through a straw. It's about Richard who was handed a mobile phone as he lay on the stretcher so he could say goodbye to his wife. It is about Ben, its about Steven and Andy and Mark, its about them all. They are just blokes but they are our blokes; they are our heroes. We want to help our heroes."

Bryn Parry
Appeal Chairman

"I wholeheartedly welcome this brilliant initiative. Funds raised by Help for Heroes will enable the British people, and friends overseas, to offer practical support for our wounded servicemen and their families. For example, our outstanding Tri-Service Rehabilitation Centre at Headley Court urgently needs a new gym and full-size swimming pool complex, funds raised by Help for Heroes will help build it. I urge you to support the initiatives that make up this campaign and so support our wounded heroes."

General Sir Richard Dannatt
Chief of the General Staff
