The South Downs Way runs from Winchester to Eastbourne, its 160Km long with about 4150m of ascent we cycled it over two days, the 20th and 21st June. It took a total of 17 hours to complete, we got through three packets of jelly babies, umpteen packets of chocolait biscuits and gallons of water. We were very glad of padded pants and gloves as the bridleway is rocky as well as hilly in many places, it’s also a wonderfully beautiful. We’d like to say a huge thank you to everyone who has helped us with training and especially Mel who drove our support car and of course everyone who has donated in support of our efforts, this page will stay open for another month so please keep giving.
