What keeps you up at night?
At the moment all I can think about, when I should be sleeping, is young people on the streets of Brazil.
Trapped in poverty.
Living in danger.
No hope for a future.
So in January 2011 I will be getting on a plane with my life in my back pack to go as a 'Strider' for 12 months with Latin Link.
As a 'Strider' I will be working in a project with some of Brazil's poorest, under-privileged young people. Day to day I will be directly using the skills I have trained for over the last three years as a Youth and Community Worker, swapping the luxury of North Finchley for the basics of life in Brazil.
Whether I have 20 friends who can donate £100 each or 100 friends who can donate £20 each, every pound donated counts. I am donating every penny I can from my own savings towards this trip but need your help if I am to reach my target in time.
